Like 1 Jun 23, 2012 permalink ovisual I bought my camera two months ago and I noticed the serial difference in EXIF tags. Because I bóught it for chéap from the gréy market I thóught it was á fake 60D forged somewhere in China, and send it to the local Canon Service Center. They certified that the camera was authentic, the only problem was a bug related to serial number and of course with the warranty certificate. In the grand scheme of things some companies never issue firmware updates to fix bugs as bad as AF inaccuracy. Canons a good company overall, pretty damn spoiled its users are.
